The jury’s access to see photos of your work is maybe the most importance part of a good application. Please include clear photos of your work in its finished form. In other words: submit photos of your actual printed objects, not just the digital files of the artwork.
These photos do not have to be professional or perfectly edited. They just need to show us your work as it exists as an object in the real world.
If you have a new project that isn’t yet printed, please include any WIP images you’d like as well as examples of your previous work that showcases your printing techniques and/or book forms.

Submitting photos of your table set-up is extremely helpful for all applications (not just ours!). This allows the jury to see the overall quality of your work and their forms.
A great table set-up doesn’t need to be fancy or overly produced. A simple piece of fabric for a table cloth, the kitchen section of the thrift store for display options, and small hand-made signs can come together as an effective display.
If you are new to exhibiting your work or don’t have any photos of your previous table set-ups, try a practice set-up to photograph! This can be a great way to experiment and find your style.

It is true, sadly we won’t be able to accept every applicant into this year’s fair. We only have room for around 65 exhibitors and last year we received over 170 applications. If you are not accepted or are placed on the waitlist, please do not get discouraged. We encourage you to keep working on your art and apply again next year.
We try to balance our exhibitors with good representation of local vs national artists, novices vs experts, and a wide-range of ages, styles and mediums.
You might not be accepted this year due to steep competition in your particular field, confusing or incomplete application, applying with work not under the Off Register umbrella (ie paintings, digitally printed work, etc), or we feel the quality of work needs a little more experimenting to find itself.
Off Register will not accept any work that uses AI to generate images or text.
